The Pineapple Brewery in High Street, Maidenhead, was founded in 1840 by Robert Nicholson. Registered as above in 1903 and then acquired by Courage, Barclay & Co Ltd in 1958. The brewery was closed in 1961 and has since become the Nicholson Walk shopping complex. The stable buildings remain.
