Machen & Co were established in 1856. The company split in 1881 when it was sold and one of the origianl owbers sons formed C. Machen & Co, which became Machen & Hudson in 1887. Machen & Co were taken over by T B Hall in 1897 but continued to trade independently. They had an arrangement to bottle beer from Taylor Macleod of Edinburgh, who were operating in the early years of the 20th century.

T.B. Hall and Machen & Co are well known for Dutch collectors as Phoenix Amersfoort brewed and bottled their export beers for a long period of time. I expectthese aminly tobe from the twenties/thirtees.. Where can I upload some examples?
