Annual General Meeting @ Harvey’s of Lewes Saturday 8th June

As already announced, the 2019 AGM will take place at Harvey’s on 8 June.

The formal meeting will take place in the upstairs Dining Room of the John Harvey Tavern, Bear Lane, off Cliffe High Street, opposite Harvey’s Bridge Wharf Brewery, Lewes, East Sussex, BN7 2AH.

There will also be plenty of opportunity for socializing, exchanging labels and consuming beer from the excellent Harvey’s range. A sandwich lunch and beer is being provided courtesy of the host brewery so please come along and enjoy the day.

The provisional timetable for the AGM is as follows

12.30pm to 1.30pm approx. – AGM – with official welcome from Miles Jenner at 12.30pm

1.30pm to 2.30pm – Lunch and socializing, etc.

2.30pm to 3.30pm – Label Auction

3.30pm – Relax, drink, short brewery tour with Miles.

Lewes Station (with regular train services from London Victoria) is a short walk from the brewery.

Car parking is not available at the brewery but there are two car parks close by.

As we always say, please do not drink and drive!

We are hoping to produce an illustrated booklet on the history of Harvey’s which will be available exclusively to those attending the AGM.

We have also hope that the current set of bottle labels to be available.

There will be a further opportunity to add to your label collection. As mentioned above, there will be an auction of older labels, but there will also be labels available to buy at bargain prices, from £1 a page. These are from a collection recently acquired by the Society. So, don’t miss out!

All in all, something for everyone so please come along and enjoy the day!

Bookings not required – and no fees to pay.

Members & Guests Only

See you there, we hope
