Members Winter Meeting – 26 January, South London
If you want to acquire some more labels (and sample good food and excellent beer from Harveys of Lewes) then make a date to come to the Winter Meeting at the Royal Oak, Tabard Street, London (near Borough on the Northern Line)
We start at 12 noon. There will be a chance to socialize and then a further auction of older labels from the Des Clarke Collection
The Society has also recently acquired a collection of labels which we are starting to dispose of. The better labels (mainly from the 1950s era) will be auctioned over the next few months (look out for details being sent out with the printed Newsletter) but the more common and modern labels will be sold at £1 or £2 a page with a start being made at the Royal Oak meeting. Come along and get a bargain or two.
