There are so many questions that need to be answered about this label. Bagpipe Stout conjures up a vision of a Scottish brew, probably from Alloa. But wait, it is an Irish Style Dry Stout, it must refer to uilleann pipes, the national bagpipe of Ireland. This is not what immediately springs to mind. Brewed in Monmouth. Not Wales then. Best enjoyed in a pint glass? I would agree with this except 1 pint = 16oz in Monmouth IL, so 20% less than I want. Lastly, it is good to see the ‘instruction’ serve at 52ºF. Not all American beer is served a degree or two above freezing point.
