AGM at Shepherd Neame Ltd, Faversham, 9th June

This is how the programme for the day looks so far. The meeting will take place in the Function Room of the Brewery Visitor Centre.

12.30pm to 1.30pm approx. – AGM (with an official welcome at 12.30pm)

1.45pm to 2.30pm – Label Auction

2.30pm to 3.30pm – Brewery Tour (concentrating on the history of the brewery)

3.30pm to 4.30pm – Buffet in the Brewery Visitor Centre

At 4.30pm it will be necessary for us all to move to the bar area

Those who prefer not to do the tour would be welcome to go to the bar instead once the auction is over.

 Beer, soft drinks and the buffet are being provided courtesy of the host brewery. We are told that the food provided will consist of the following

Assorted thick cut, generously filled sandwiches
Homemade individual savoury tartlets
Herby potato wedges with tomato ketchup
Homemade Spitfire sausage rolls with ale mustard
Garlic and thyme marinated chicken wings

To walk from the station to the brewery takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Alight at Faversham Station. Cross the road, bearing left and turn right into Preston Street. Walk to the bottom of road through the pedestrian area. Turn left into East Street then right through the Square into Court Street. The Brewery is on your left.

Train services to Faversham from London (Victoria) and London St Pancras International, are provided by Southeastern Trains.

There are no car parking facilities at the Brewery – but there is a pay and display car park in Partridge Lane, which runs down the side of the Visitor Centre.

There is also a large Tesco’s car park across the road, but there may well be a time limit on parking there.

There is no need to book and no booking fees etc to pay.  Please just turn up on the day and come to the Visitor Centre, 11 Court Street, on the corner of Partridge Lane and Court Street.
