Nalder & Collyers Brewery Co Ltd

Founded before 1586 by Wylim Chapman Baker. In 1848 the brewery was leased from the trustees of Anthony Harman and they proceeded to buy the freehold c 1890. The company was registered as above in 1888, owning some 160 public houses. Acquired by the City of London Brewery Co Ltd in 1919, with some 170 tied houses. Brewing ceased in 1936
