Breweries with a castle trademark

Two Guinness labels, one from Daniel Fielding’s White Castle Brewery and one from H King & Co, bottlers of Liverpool. I understand why Fielding might use a Castle trademark, but what about King? And the castle on the Fielding label isn’t your run of the mill trademark. Is this based on a local castle?

One Response to Breweries with a castle trademark

  • Could it be a play on words/phrases? i.e. “I’m the King of the Castle”. The castle is better trademark than items associated with a kitchen. Mind you, a label with pots, pans, ladles and a cooker as trademark could be interesting, somewhat surreal!
