Hi all,
I would like to thank all how attended the AGM yesterday for turning out to help shape the aims and objectives of the Society moving forward over the upcoming year! Although the turnout was not huge, there was some very constructive and interesting discussions about labels and our hobby of collecting them. As always, Keith O provided us with some very interesting facts about some labels that amazed many. He also had with him a album of labels that contained page after page of historic labels that I had never seen before! On top of that the Society auctioned some very nice labels, some dating back some 70 or 80 years! And of course, there was a tremendous amount of swapping of labels going on as well! A very fine day indeed even if Peter D found the beer a bit expensive for his liking!
I would also like to thank each and every one of the Committee Members for their hard work over the last year and let them all know how much I look forward to our continued efforts in the forthcoming year!
