Another colour combination that I think is particularly effective. Although the majority of the labels in my collection are oval or elliptical in shape, I do think that there are some lovely designs for rectangular labels, like this one from the time before the company was registered in the 1930s, when ( Lewes ) appeared on all their advertising material.
