Just a gentle reminder folks, only a week to go, until our premier event of the year. At this time we are expecting some 30 people to attend, if you are not yet planning on joining us, WHY NOT? You really don’t to miss out on a great day!
It is always a excellent meeting with plenty of new labels on sale, older labels being auctioned & some scarcer new ones, of course. Our wonderful raffle will once again be on offer and you will no doubt find other collectors to swop, exchange and buy/sell labels with. We believe that Peter D may well examine your knowledge of labology with another fiendish quiz.
What else, Oh the main reason for LOTY, which is to raise money for charity, this year the Alexander Devine Childrens Hospice will benefit from your generosity.
There will of course be a buffet & Windsor & Eton’s excellent ales to sustain you, whilst we relieve you of as much money, as we possibly can. So if you are already planning on joining us and have any items we can raffle or auction to boost the charity funds, then bring them along.
We certainly hope to raise a good sum again this year and will be extremely disappointed, if we do not take our 31 year running total thru the £60,000 barrier.
So to recap, join us @ Windsor & Eton, donate lots, spend even more, eat & drink well, spend some more, enjoy the company & the day, travel home happy in the knowledge that you have helped a worthy cause. (& you may well have added to your collections)
